Interview with teachers

Carol- Udaya is playing a very important role as he can speaks Hindi. Teachers can mix English with Hindi words and the information flows. We already interviewed four teachers and got useful insights from them. Most are there for more than 10 years...long experience and a lot of hope. Photo below is from Center of Excellence where they cover School of Hope activities.

Rakhi blessed

Rakhi blessed...Rakhi means that the brother will protect the sister. The guys were chosen today for some students to be their protectors. The children make them handcraft. Very pretty.

Ready to visit Tata Steel plant

Szandra, Manju and Carol. The visit was great we could see how they do plain/ flat steel at 1250 Celsius!!! We learned also how to galvanize steel after it is ready. Interesting to see how it looks like making pasta. Passing over and over to a machine that makes it thinner, adding pressure and changing from one side to other side. Unique opportunity.

Zoological park

Amazing zoo where you can take a tour in zoo vehicle.

Vegetarian the other way around

Carol- I prefer to just eat protein and complex carbohidrates. In other words, no rice, no bread, no sweet. Feeling a lot like a vegetarian in Brazil...but that's fine...it's all part of the experience. Indian food has a lot of flavour and it's very interesting that they have so many tradicinal food from each region. Arnab and Sam are great and very friendly. I am so happy that they take good care of us.
